Report: Umar Nurmagomedov Faces Hunter Azure At UFC 249
A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 249 as Umar Nurmagomedov is in action against Hunter Azure.
MMA Junkie reported the bout, who’s spot on the card hasn’t been revealed at this time.
Nurmagomedov (12-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Nurmagomedov competed twice before in the PFL, defeating the duo of Sidemar Honorio and Saidyokub Kakhramanov. Nurmagomedov has competed twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those bouts went the distance.
Azure (8-0-0) has already picked up one win under the UFC banner, which came over Brad Katona at UFC Fight Night Vancouver. Azure competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 3, defeating Chris Ocon by unanimous decision. Azure is also undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and his streak has also lasted over two years.
