Report: Myles Jury Faces Georgi Karakhanyan On July 17 Bellator MMA Card
A lightweight division attraction has been added to a yet to be announced Bellator MMA card on July 17 as Myles Jury faces Georgi Karakhanyan.
FanSided first reported the news, which Jury revealed during an interview with the site.
Jury (18-5-0) has won just one of two under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Brandon Girtz at Bellator 239. Jury spent nearly seven years competing in the UFC, picking up notable wins over Michael Johnson, Ramsey Nijem, Diego Sanchez, Takanori Gomi and Rick Glenn. Jury has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Karakhanyan (29-10-1-1NC) has won one of his last three in Bellator MMA, with that lone win coming over Paul Redmond at Bellator 240. Karakhanyan also competed in the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix, losing in the opening round to AJ McKee. Karakhanyan is a former WSOF Featherweight Champion, defeating Lance Palmer at the WSOF 7 to win the gold.
The yet to be announced Bellator MMA card is set for Friday, July 17 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
