Lance Palmer Still In The Dark About PFL Contracts, Talks Steven Siler, Hand Injury
Once considered a top prospect in MMA, Lance Palmer has reached championship status, and after a couple of tough losses looks to regain that status.
Following a loss to Andre Harrison in March, former WSOF Featherweight Champion Palmer takes on UFC veteran Steven Siler November 2 at PFL Washington. After spending four years with the company, this will be his first fight since they rebranded as the "Professional Fighter's League." Despite the changes, Palmer is still in the dark about how things will work there.
"I think I'll be able to push a little more and get a little more information. From what I hear we're gonna sign a contract for the entire year. (About getting a monthly salary instead of per fight) that's kind of what I heard, then it went away. We're not too sure. It's a positive thing for the sport, I believe. It's great for the PFL, because we need something that brings over fans for the views. It's still kind of in the dark. I don't think anybody really knows exactly what the game plan is going to be yet," said Palmer to Fightful.com's James Lynch
