Tony Ferguson Makes A Bloody Callout For Khabib Nurmagomedov

UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was last seen in the Octagon at UFC 242, defeating former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier by third round submission to become the undisputed UFC Lightweight Champion.

Former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson is expected to be next for Nurmagomedov and he would call out the champ via a bloody Twitter post for a bout at UFC 245:

There has been no response yet from Nurmagomedov, who’s agent in Ali Abdelaziz said that he’d like to face former two division UFC champion Georges St. Pierre next. Two title bouts have already been booked for UFC 245 as Max Holloway defends the featherweight title against Alexander Volkanovski and Amanda Nunes defends the women’s bantamweight title against Germaine De Randamie.

UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, December 14 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
