Goldberg Says Brock Lesnar Is A Caring Person

Goldberg thinks Brock Lesnar sympathized with him.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Bill Goldberg claimed Brock Lesnar is solely responsible for Goldberg's successful WWE run in 2016 and 2017. He said he believes Brock was doing him a kindness by helping to make it happen.

“I know it’s hard to believe this, but Brock is a caring person underneath all that big giant monster’s body. The relationship he has with his sons parallels my relationship with my son, and I think Brock may have understood what I was going through. Maybe he put himself in my position, saw a little bit of himself later in life in me, and saw how much this meant to me. For that, I can never repay Brock,” said Goldberg.

When Goldberg returned to WWE, he defeated Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series and defeated Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship which he eventually lost to Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. This year Goldberg entered the WWE Hall of Fame
