Bianca Belair On Earning The Trust Of Creative And Possibly Winning Her First Title At WrestleMania

Bianca Belair is ready to show up and show out at WrestleMania 37.

Bianca Belair seems primed for a spot at the top of WWE’s Women’s Championship picture. Moving to Monday Night Raw following a run on NXT, Bianca had a slow start on WWE’s flagship programming

Following a move to SmackDown as part of the 2020 WWE Draft, Bianca has since been featured near the top of the women’s division and is constantly referred to on-screen and behind the scenes as somebody who is ready for a breakout moment.

For Bianca, that breakout moment can come at this year’s Royal Rumble which would earn her a spot in a championship main event at WrestleMania. Should Bianca win a championship at WrestleMania, it would be her first championship win ever.

Speaking with the New York Post, Bianca Belair called the potential of her winning the Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania that would be indescribable. However, she says that she feels the only way to outperform her record-setting performance at last year’s Royal Rumble is to win this year’s Royal Rumble.

“Winning this year would mean everything. That’s something that would bring a feeling that I can’t even put into words. The answer is just a feeling. It’s a feeling like everything you put into being a WWE Superstar it’s all making sense, it’s all coming together. This would be your ticket to get to WrestleMania. Everybody’s dream is to have a match at WrestleMania, so winning this Rumble would mean the world to me. The expectations are high for me this year being that I tied for the most eliminations at eight and I lasted over 30 minutes and everyone is like how is she gonna top (that) this year? And, I think how could I possibly top this year other than winning.”

Should she win the Royal Rumble this year, it would be the ultimate sign that the decision-makers in WWE have faith in her. Bianca says that she has felt like WWE has had faith in her ever since last year’s Royal Rumble when they proved it to her by putting her in a prime position to make a name for herself.

“Definitely. I think last year being that they told me the night before I was going to be in the Royal Rumble and I was the second entrant and I was starting the match. That right there told me that they also had faith in me and they handed me the ball saying, ‘you asked us to put you in the game, show us what you can do with it.’ I think I was able to prove that to them last year and I think every single time I step out there I’m proving that to them even more.”

She continued, “I want my name to be in the conversation whenever there are big moments about to happen. When they are figuring out these big moments, I want my name to be in those conversations because I want to have the reputation that I will always come through and I will always show up and show out.”

If Bianca were to win the Royal Rumble and stay on SmackDown, as of right now she would be facing Sasha Banks.

Speaking about a potential championship match at WrestleMania with Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair said the match would be important to her because of what it would mean for not only her as a performer but black history overall. Read her comments at this link.
