Dana White Says “Fight Island” Octagon To Be On A Beach, UFC 251 May Be First “Fight Island” Card

“Fight Island” may be one of the most hyped things to come from the UFC in a very long time.

UFC President Dana White recently spoke with TMZ Sports and he revealed that there is going to be an Octagon on the beach at “Fight Island.”

“The FANTASY of Fight Island,” White said. “I’m very worried it will eclipse the REALITY of Fight Island. The fighters are not going to walk out lined up with tiki torches on the side. I will not be sitting in a big thrown overseeing the octagon and watching the fight. We actually have an arena. We built a little arena there that’s very, very cool … The fighters will have their own private places to train. And, there will be an octagon on the beach too!”

TMZ Sports, during their conversation with White, was able to find out that “Fight Island’s” first event could be UFC 251, which is set for Saturday, July 11.

A location for “Fight Island” has been kept a secret this whole time as well, but Raphael Marinho of Combate first revealed that the location for “Fight Island” is Abu Dhabi, which is also something that UFC fighter Herbert Burns accidentally let out during UFC 250.
