Cage Warriors 113 To Continue As Planned, May Be An Empty Arena Show
While a lot of promotions have been affected by the coronavirus, one that cannot be counted among them is Cage Warriors.
Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan would take to Twitter today to not only announce that this Friday’s event will go on as planned, but may do so in an empty arena setting:
As of today Cage Warriors is going ahead with London #cw113 we broadcast globally into 150m homes around the world. The fighters confirmed they want it, they worked hard for it I won’t be letting them down. The government will have to step in & stop @CageWarriors

As of TODAY #cw113 has NO restrictions. Should the Government step in with restrictions that “are compulsory” then it will be a closed door event. No Government restrictions will mean a @cagewarriors event as normal. The fighters & staff have been asked & all are attending.

We could well be behind closed doors, time will tell & most likely we will. You asked for the updates & as of today that’s the update.

The event is scheduled to be headlined by a trio of title bouts as Morgan Charriere defends the interim featherweight title against Darko Banovic, Mason Jones faces Joe McColgan for the vacant lightweight title and Samir Faiddine defends the flyweight strap against Luke Shanks.
