Report: Kai Kara France Battles Ashkan Mokhtarian At UFC Fight Night Adelaide
A flyweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night Adelaide card according to Shawn Bitter of MMA Today News as Kai Kara France faces Ashkan Mokhtarian.
France (17-7-0-1NC) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a five fight winning streak. France also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24, making it to the quarterfinals before losing to Alexandre Pantoja. France hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Tatsumitsu Wada at Rizin 3.
Mokhtarian (13-3-0) enters the bout while riding a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to the duo of John Moraga and Ryan Benoit. Mokhtarian hasn’t picked up a victory in well over a year, with his last win coming over Kan Hamongkol at JNI Promotions: 1 On 1. Mokhtarian has picked up a total of thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter, with twelve of those wins coming via a mix of KO/TKO and submission.
