Lance Palmer vs. Jumabieke Tuerxun Headlining PFL 4, Full Card Announced
The card has been announced for the upcoming Professional Fighters League 4 event and the main event will see Lance Palmer take on Jumabieke Tuerxun.
Palmer (13-3-0) is undefeated thus far in the first season of the PFL, defeating Bekbulat Magomedov by second round submission at PFL 1. Palmer is a former two time World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion, defeating Rick Glenn and Alexandre Almeida to start both reigns. The submission win over Magomedov at PFL 1 was the first time that Palmer scored a non-decision victory in over three years.
Tuerxun (20-7-1) is currently winless in the first season of the PFL, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Andre Harrison at PFL 1. Tuerxun hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, with his last win coming over Sergey Yakovlev at Kunlun Fight MMA 14. Tuerxun also went winless during a three fight run in the UFC, losing to the trio of Mark Eddiva, Leandro Issa and Marcus Brimage.
Other fights on the card will see Andre Harrison vs. Nazareno Malegarie, Francimar Barroso vs. Jack May , Alexandre Almeida vs. Steven Siler , Alex Nicholson vs. Philipe Lins , Jared Rosholt vs. Kelvin Tiller , Bekbulat Magomedov vs Magomed Idrisov , Max Coga vs. Marcos Galvao , Lee Coville vs. Timur Valiev and Josh Copeland vs. Shawn Jordan.
PFL 4 takes place on Thursday, July 19 from the NYCB Live in Uniondale, New York with Lance Palmer and Jumabieke Tuerxun headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
