Report: Niko Price Faces Abdul Razak Alhassan At UFC 228

A welterweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC 228 card according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Niko Price takes on Abdul Razak Alhassan.

Price (12-1-0-1NC) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of George Sullivan and Randy Brown. Price has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Vicente Luque at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Price has seen just one of his fourteen professional MMA bouts go the distance and that came against Willie Hosch at Fight Time 32.

Alhassan (9-1-0) also enters the bout while riding a two fight winning streak, with both of the wins coming over Sabah Homasi. Alhassan has picked up a total of nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and all of those victories came by KO/TKO. Alhassan also competed once in Bellator MMA, defeating Bruce Shepard-Mejia at Bellator 143 in September of 2015.

UFC 228 takes place on Saturday, September 8 from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas with Tyron Woodley and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
