Report: Neil Magny Injured, Off UFC Fight Night Rochester

This weekends UFC Fight Night Rochester card has taken a hit according to MMA Junkie as Neil Magny has withdrawn from a co-main event bout against Vicente Luque.

There has been no reason give by either Magny or the UFC as to why the fighter pulled out of the bout or how long Magny is expected to be out of action for. Luque is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a short notice replacement.

Luque (15-6-1) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak, defeating the four pack of Niko PriceChad LapriseJalin Turner and Bryan Barberena. Luque hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years, with that last loss coming to Leon Edwards via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 107 in March of 2017. Luque has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those defeats came by way of KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night Rochester takes place on Saturday, May 18 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York with Rafael Dos Anjos and Kevin Lee headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
