Report: Luis Pena vs. Khama Worthy Added To UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker as Luis Pena faces Khama Worthy.

MMA Junkie first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Pena (8-2-0) has won four of six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Richie Smullen, Steven Peterson, Matt Wiman and Steve Garcia. Pena competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27, but was removed from the reality show after suffering an injury. Pena has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came in UFC competition.

Worthy (15-6-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Devonte Smith by first round TKO at UFC 241. Worthy comes into the contest riding a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over three years. Worthy has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker takes place on Saturday, June 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
