Report: Khama Worthy Faces Ottman Azaitar At UFC 249

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 249 as Khama Worthy is in action against Ottman Azaitar.

MMA Fighting reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Worthy (15-6-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Devonte Smith by first round TKO at UFC 241. Worthy enters the bout riding a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over two years. Worthy has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Azaitar (12-0-0) made his UFC debut last year at UFC 242, defeating Teemu Packalen by first round knockout. Azaitar is undefeated thus far as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted over five years. Azaitar has competed a total of twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.

UFC 249 takes place on Saturday, April 18 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
