Report: Beneil Dariush Faces Drew Dober At UFC Fight Night Wichita
A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Wichita according to Farah Hannoun as Beneil Dariush is in action against Drew Dober.
Dariush (15-4-1) has won just one of his last four bouts under the UFC banner and that lone win came over Thiago Moises at UFC Fight Night Denver. Dariush has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Dariush has seen six of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter has won all of those encounters.
Dober (20-8-0-1NC) enters the contest on the strength of a three fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Josh Burkman, Frank Camacho and Jon Tuck. Dober hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years and that last loss came against Olivier Aubin-Mercier at UFC 206. Dober has picked up twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and nearly half of those victories have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Wichita takes place on Saturday, March 9 from the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
