Report: Ben Saunders Faces Sergio Moraes At UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo
A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Ben Saunders faces Sergio Moraes.
Saunders (22-9-2) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that single win coming over Jake Ellenberger at UFC Fight Night Utica. Saunders hasn’t had a fight go the distance in almost two years, with his last bout to do so being at UFC Fight Night 103. Saunders has had three separate runs in the UFC, earning a culminative record of 9-6-0 in the promotion.
Moraes (13-3-1) has won three of his last four in the UFC, with those victories coming over the trio of Zak Ottow, Davi Ramos and Tim Means. Moraes has suffered a total of three losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be finished by way of submission. Moraes also competed once in Bellator MMA, defeating Josh Martin by first round submission at Bellator 12.
