Report: Bellator Signs Invicta FC Flyweight Champion Vanessa Porto

Another big signing has reportedly been made by Bellator as the promotion has signed Invicta FC Flyweight Champion Vanessa Porto.

Marc Raimondi of ESPN first reported the news, but the length of Porto’s contract or any financial numbers associated with the deal weren’t revealed at this time.

Porto (22-8-0) enters the promotion riding a four fight winning streak with those victories coming over Milana Dudieva, Mariana Morais, Pearl Gonzalez and Karina Rodriguez. Porto has earned 22 wins as a professional MMA fighter, with some notable victories coming over Tonya Evinger, Germaine De Randamie, Kalindra Faria, Jennifer Maia, Tara LaRosa, Zoila Frausto and Roxanne Modafferi. Porto became the Invicta Flyweight Champion at Invicta FC 34, defeating the aforementioned Gonzalez by technical decision. Porto has competed 30 times as a professional MMA fighter and 12 of those bouuts went to the judges scorecards.

There is no word at this time as to when Porto will make her promotional debut or whom that bout will come against.
