Germaine De Randamie Cleared To Train Again
Former UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Germaine De Randamie had been out of action for quite some time after getting hand surgery.
The former champion decided to get surgery on her often injured hand after pulling out of a bout against Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night Rotterdam.
However, the female fighter has now been cleared by her physician to train again and down the line, fight again.
De Randamie made the announcement herself through Instagram:
UFC 208 was where De Randamie earned a controversial decision victory over former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm to become the first ever UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion. The champion would eventually be stripped of her belt for refusing to defend it against former Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.
There is no timeframe at this time as to when fans should expect to see De Randamie step into the Octagon again.
