Report: Ashlee Evans-Smith Faces Norma Dumont At UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis

A women’s bantamweight battle between Ashlee Evans-Smith faces Norma Dumont has been added to UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis.

Combate first reported the bout.

Evans-Smith (6-4-0) has won just one of her last four under the UFC banner. That lone win came over Bec Rawlings at UFC 223. Evans-Smith has not competed in over a year. Her last bout came at UFC Fight Night Phoenix in February 2019. Evans-Smith also won five of nine fights when competing as an amateur fighter. Fun fact, one of those wins is over current WWE star Jessamyn Duke.

Dumont (4-1-0) is winless thus far in UFC competition, having dropped one against Megan Anderson at UFC Fight Night Norfolk. Dumont’s last victory came against Mariana Morais at Shooto Brazil 86 in August 2018. Dumont has picked up two of her four professional MMA wins by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis takes place on Saturday, November 28 from a location to be announced with Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
