Paul Kelly Will Face Simone Bottino In Return Fight
Former UFC fighter Paul Kelly is competing for the first time since being released from prison last year at Probellum 1 on March 7 and that bout will come against Simone Bottino.
The promotion announced the bout through Instagram:
Kelly (14-5-0) is going to be competing for the first time in over seven years and comes into the contest riding a two fight winning streak. Kelly went 5-4-0 when competing in the UFC, with those wins coming over Paul Taylor, Troy Mandaloniz, Roli Delgado, Matt Veach and TJ O’Brien. Kelly has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Bottino (3-5-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last six fights, with the latest bout being a first round submission win over Martin Rioja at WTE Fight Championship 8. Bottino started off his professional MMA career on a three fight losing streak and the fighter didn’t pick up that first win until three years after turning pro. Bottino has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Probellum 1 takes place on Saturday, March 7 from the Liverpool Olympia in Liverpool, England with Paul Kelly and Simone Bottino headlining.
