UFC Veteran Paul Kelly Returning After Six Year Prison Sentence
Paul Kelly hasn’t competed since scoring a first round TKO victory over Henrique Santana at Ultimate Warrior Challenge 22 in March of 2013.
The reason that Kelly hasn’t fought since March of 2013 was because the UFC veteran has been serving time in prison after being found guilty of heroin trafficking in May of 2013. Kelly was supposed to serve a 13 year sentence in prison, but was released after serving six years.
Kelly, with the prison sentence now a thing of the past, is looking to return to professional MMA competition and will face an opponent to be named at a Probellum MMA event on March 7.
Probellum MMA made the announcement via Twitter:

A soon to be returning Kelly has a 14-5-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, with notable wins coming over Paul Taylor, Matt Veach and TJ O’Brien.
There is no word at this time as to whom Kelly is going to be facing at the event, but Probellum MMA is expected to make that announcement shortly.
