Brendan Schaub Roasts USADA After Testing Jon Jones Just Once In 2018

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been tested just once by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) in 2018.

Retired UFC fighter Brendan Schaub doesn’t like the fact that USADA has barely tested a two time violator and he blasted them for the perceived lack of effort on their behalf.

“Again, I tell you guys this all the time, if you think USADA’s organization is the end-all-be-all and is the goody two-shoes of the world when it comes to drug testing, you’re fooling yourself,” Schaub said on Below The Belt. “A man (Jon Jones) who has been notoriously known for failing drug tests gets tested once?! I’ve always been skeptical of USADA. Always.”

Jones has failed two drug tests in the past, with the latest failure being in line with UFC 214, a punishment has yet to be handed out for that one.

Schaub has a lot of disdain for the USADA drug testing program, which he says has already ruined the sport of MMA.

“Again, I don’t want you guys to catch Jon or DC or anyone doing anything,” Schaub said. “Don’t ruin my sport. You already f**ked it up enough. Just don’t test him. Or post fake testing. Just say you tested Jon, I don’t give a f**k. But don’t say you tested him once out of the year and you test DC 11 [times] and tell us you’re doing your job.”

A now retired Schaub didn’t fail any drug tests during his professional MMA career, but the fighter did retire before the UFC switched over to the USADA testing program.
