Brodie Lee Jr. Hits A Discus Lariat And Pins Adam Cole In Undisputed Victory
It is often said that the pro wrestling community is more like a family than a group of co-workers. This has never been more evident than it is today as the wrestling world continues to embrace Brodie Lee Jr. in the wake of his father’s tragic passing.
Throughout the past week, as the world joins the Huber family in grieving the loss of Brodie Lee, the wrestling world has also lifted up Brodie Lee Jr. allowing him to be part of the community that his father left an indelible mark on.
This past Wednesday on Dynamite, Brodie Lee Jr was given his father’s TNT Championship, effectively retiring that championship’s design in honor of his father who was the second TNT Champion in history. That show also saw Brodie Jr. get the opportunity to hit Maxwell Jacob Friedman over the head with a kendo stick and later be named “wrestler of the week” by AEW.
The tributes did not end after the cameras stopped rolling on Wednesday night. Brodie Lee Jr. also got an opportunity to beat up members of The Dark Order after the show and at a New Year’s Eve gathering, he got a chance to “test his skills” against Top Flight.

Perhaps most special for him, Brodie Lee Jr. was able to “pin” the longest-reigning NXT Champion in history as Adam Cole was also present at this gathering, and in a video shared by Britt Baker on Twitter, you can see Brodie Jr. hitting his father’s signature Discus Lariat and beating the Undisputed ERA leader.
