Report: Sean Brady Faces Ismail Naurdiev At UFC Fight Night Norfolk
A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Norfolk as Sean Brady is in action against Ismail Naurdiev.
MMA Fighting reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn’t known as of yet.
Brady (11-0-0) has already picked up a single win under the UFC banner, defeating Court McGee by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Boston. Brady is also a former CFFC Welterweight Champion, defeating Tajuddin Abdul Hakim by fourth round TKO at CFFC 72 to win the gold. Brady has competed a total of eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those bouts went the distance.
Naurdiev (19-3-0) has won two of three thus far in the UFC, with those wins coming over Michel Prazeres and Siyar Bahadurzada. Naurdiev is undefeated when competing on “Fight Night” cards in the UFC and winless when competing on pay-per-view cards. Naurdiev has picked up nineteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Norfolk takes place on Saturday, February 29 from the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia with Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
