Report: Ismail Naurdiev Replaces Ramazan Emeev At UFC Fight Night Prague

Ramazan Emeev has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Prague, replacing him against Michel Prazeres is Ismail Naurdiev according to MMA Brasil.

Prazeres (26-2-0) will enter the contest on the strength of an eight fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years. Prazeres has suffered just two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with both of them coming in UFC competition against Kevin Lee and Paulo Thiago. Prazeres has been undefeated since moving up a weight class to welterweight, having previously competed in the lightweight division.

Naurdiev (17-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Naurdiev has fought one UFC veteran before, defeating Ben Alloway by first round knockout at Absolute Championship Berkut 60. Naurdiev has competed nineteen times as a professional MMA fighter and only two of his bouts have gone the distance.

UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
