Report: Warlley Alves Faces Randy Brown At UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo

A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Warlley Alves is in action against Randy Brown.

Alves (13-3-0) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Salim Touahri, Sultan Aliev and Sergio Moraes. Alves is the first and only fighter thus far to defeat former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington, with that win coming at UFC 194 in December of 2015. Alves has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition.

Brown (11-3-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, with the latest bout being a third round TKO win over Bryan Barberena at UFC Fight Night Greenville. Brown has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of KO/TKO. Brown has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one coming by KO/TKO, one by submission and one by decision.

UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo takes place on Saturday, November 16 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Jan Blachowicz and Ronaldo Souza headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
