The surging Masvidal first wants to defeat Diaz at UFC 244 and then face the baddest star in the WWE ranks afterwards.
“I want you to tell me who the baddest mother(expletive) is over at the WWE, and that’s what’s next after this fight,” Masvidal said on the Reality Of Wrestling podcast (via Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie). “God willing, I get my hand raised on Nov. 2, God allows me to get this victory, I want to go over and challenge the baddest mother f’er in WWE, because I know there are some bad mother f’ers over there.”
There has been a lot of cross over from MMA to pro wrestling and pro wrestling to MMA in the past, so it is possible that Masvidal can get a WWE star in the Octagon.
Masvidal has business to attend to first at UFC 244 and he does believe that the winner of that bout is the baddest motherf*cker.
“If the president of the company is making the belt, you can’t disagree,” Masvidal said. “The two baddest mother(expletive)’s on the planet throwing down, you know. The company, the president himself is saying (this). Of course you got to love it, you got to get behind it, and at the end of the day it’s a fight that everybody wants to see.”
UFC 244 takes place on Saturday, November 2 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
