Report: Myles Jury Signs With Bellator MMA
A new threat is reportedly making his way to the Bellator MMA Lightweight Division as UFC veteran Myles Jury has signed a contract with the promotion.
ESPN first reported the news of Jury’s signing, but didn’t mention the exact length of the contract or any financial numbers associated with the deal.
Jury (17-4-0) won eight of twelve during his time in the UFC, with notable victories coming against Michael Johnson, Ramsey Nijem, Diego Sanchez, Takanori Gomi, Mike De La Torre and Rick Glenn. Jury will enter Bellator MMA while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Chad Mendes and Andre Fili. Jury also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, making it to the second round of the reality show before losing to Al iaquinta. Jury has picked up a total of seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of those victories have come by way of KO/TKO.
There is no word yet as to when Jury is expected to make his Bellator MMA debut or whom that bout will come against, but Jury is entering a weight class that is currently ruled by two division champion Patricio Pitbull.
