Conor McGregor’s Manager Issues Statement On Bus Attack

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and associates attacked a bus full of UFC fighters this past Thursday, allegedly attempting to get at UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

This attack would lead to the cancellation of three fights, which were Michael Chiesa versus Anthony Pettis, Artem Lobov versus Alex Caceres and Ray Borg versus Brandon Moreno. Chiesa has reportedly filed a police report after the incident, it is unknown if any of the other fighters affected by the former champions actions have done the same thing.

Audie A. Attar is the manager of the former lightweight champion and he has issued a statement about the incident, which was done through Twitter:

Here is what McGregor’s manager wrote on Twitter:

“So much rumor and misinformation about my client, Conor McGregor. The matter is in the hands of law enforcement and I cannot really say more. Conor is a great father, a fiercely loyal friend, and one of the best athletes in the world. He looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible.”

McGregor hasn’t set foot in the Octagon since UFC 205, where he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Title.
