Kurt Angle: I Don’t Know How MJF Will Hold Up In An Iron Man Match With Bryan Danielson

Kurt Angle isn’t sure MJF can hang with Bryan Danielson for 60 minutes.

MJF is currently at risk of facing Bryan Danielson in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution 2023. Bryan Danielson is looking to “expose” Maxwell Jacob Friedman as a weak wrestler, and Kurt Angle thinks Danielson has a good shot.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle quipped about being uncertain MJF can hold up for an hour in the ring.

“Wow, that’s gonna be good,” said Kurt. “I don’t know how MJF is gonna hold up, but I know Daniel Bryan will do pretty well.”

Speaking about working with Bryan in the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Match in 2018, Kurt Angle said he and “The American Dragon” worked out their spots backstage, with Angle crediting Danielson as the mastermind behind their brief Royal Rumble interaction in Saudi Arabia.

“Bryan and I planned it out backstage. That was the one thing when he came in; we wanted to do something special. So Daniel actually came up with it, and it was a great little spot. I enjoyed working with him. Man, he is so talented. He’s not just an incredible high flyer, he’s a great technician, too. Daniel Bryan could be one of the best overall workers in the business today,” Angle said.
