Jonathan Gresham Betrays Lee Moriarty, Joins Tully Blanchard Enterprises On 7/8 AEW Rampage
Lee Moriarty walked into a trap on the July 8 episode of Rampage.
During what was supposed to be a tag team match between Moriarty and Jonathan Gresham against the Gates of Agony, Kaun and Toa Liona, Jonathan Gresham refused to tag in his partner.
Initially, he made it seem as though Tully Blanchard was distracting him but in actuality, he was joining Blanchard as he would leave Moriarty high and dry and walk away with the former NWA National Heavyweight Champion.
Two weeks ago on Rampage, Moriarty made it clear that he wants to be Ring of Honor World Champion. Once it was a handicap match, Kaun and Liona decimated Moriarty, defeating him as Blanchard and Gresham embraced.
