Sonya Deville Names Herself The New Number One Contender For The WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Sonya Deville books herself in a future WWE Women’s Title match.
Sonya Deville has been a WWE authority figure for the last year but before then, she was a fierce competitor and well on her way to competing for the Women’s Championship. Deville always knew she would get that opportunity but, given she has the authority, she’s going to get there faster by simply booking herself in a match against new WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
Sonya DeVille revealed her master plan on the April 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, getting Bianca to sign an open contract only to attack her from behind and reveal that she would be the first woman to challenge her for the title.

Adam Pearce, Sonya’s on-screen Authority co-worker, was repulsed by her actions and questioned how she thinks she can get away with this. Deville, simply said there’s nothing for her to get away with because it’s already official and told Adam not to be jealous because he is no longer in his prime.
