Zicky Dice says he’s bound to have a match against Seth Rollins someday.
Dice trained at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, which is run by WWE star Seth Rollins and Mark Brave. He went on to have a breakout run with the NWA, where he won the NWA World Television Championship, before he left the promotion when his contract expired at the end of 2020. He later worked a match on AEW Dark before he ultimately landed in IMPACT in August 2021, when he signed a multi-year deal with the company. Dice has been featured there ever since.
In an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Dice was asked about training at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. He briefly plugged the school by noting that if he can get through it, others can, tooo. Dice also called himself the top prospect out of the training program.
“That’s right. I am the top prospect out of the Black & Brave Wrestling Academy, what you see is what you get Hell, if Zicky Dice can do it, you can, too. BlackAndBraveWrestling.com,” Dice said.
Dice went on to say that the Black and Brave Academy should have a statue of him. He then discussed a potential teacher versus student match against Rollins and wondered whether the former WWE Universal Championship went through his phone to find his tailor.
“They should have a statue of me, by the way. So now, you want to talk about teacher versus student? Here’s a scoop for you—oh, Rollins, nice tailor. Where’d you find him, huh? You find him through my little flip book, my little phone numbers, huh? You going through my stuff, Rollins? Huh?” he said.
The IMPACT star then noted that a match between him and Rollins is bound to happen somewhere at some point.
“It’s alright. It’s bound to happen. Teacher versus student, writes itself. One day, somewhere, somehow it will happen,” he said.
In the same interview, Dice discussed why he enjoys working with IMPACT. Check out his comments here. [Update when interview is live.]
