Zeus Withdraws From AJPW Real World Tag League Due To COVID-19, AJPW Announces Replacement
Zeus’ recent positive COVID-19 test will cause him to miss AJPW’s Real World Tag League.
Earlier this month, the promotion announced on social media that Zeus tested positive and won’t be in action for at least a week. AJPW did mention that he did not have close contact with anyone else on the AJPW roster and did not state if any other wrestlers are quarantining out of caution.
However, shortly before the Real World Tag League began this week, AJPW announced that Zeus will miss the tournament. As a result, AJPW revealed that Izanagi will be Zeus’ replacement and team with Shigehiro Irie. The rest of the tournament’s teams and schedule remains intact.
