The Young Bucks have introduced Kazuchika Okada as the newest member of The Elite.
On the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada appeared and joined forces with The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). He was introduced as the newest member of The Elite. This came after the Young Bucks announced that “Hangman” Adam Page had been suspended from the group, while Kenny Omega had been fired from it. AEW also confirmed that Okada had signed with the company.
The Young Bucks then took to Twitter/X to hype up Okada’s arrival. They called him the biggest signing in AEW history. In the post, they shared a picture of themselves shaking hands with Okada and pointing at him. In doing so, they were seemingly parodying Triple H, who has been doing finger-pointing pictures for years.

Additionally, in a digital exclusive, the Young Bucks discussed the eventful night.
Nicholas Jackson: That was a tough decision that we had to make out there live on television.
Matthew Jackson: It’s really hard when you have to make an executive decision like that, but you gotta do what’s best for business. So I hope Hangman and Kenny understand. I mean, hey guys, you’re not here, so sorry, we gotta move on. We gotta get to the next thing. We can’t leave money on the table. Speaking of money, [gestures at Okada]
NJ: Ladies and gentlemen, this might be the biggest signing in AEW history.
MJ: Might? Maybe? No, no, no. He is the biggest.
Matthew and Nicholas then praised Okada and highlighted his star power. The duo noted that Okada had even more money now, as they connected him with Barry Bloom. They then emphasized that he was a good human being, and they wanted people like that in The Elite.
MJ: The guy back here, we’re talking about movie star good looks, rockstar charisma. This guy, look at him. Just so charming and so humble. You would never know that he’s the greatest wrestler of all time just by looking at him. He’s so sweet. He’s a sweetheart. He’s a good kid.
NJ: This guy can’t walk into a 7-Eleven in Japan or in Tokyo or anywhere out there because he’ll be signing autographs for days.
MJ: Guess what? He’s a millionaire now. A multi-millionaire.
NJ: Well, he already was a millionaire. Guess what? He’s even richer.
MJ: We hooked him up with our agent, Barry Bloom.
NJ: For shoot.
MJ: So he’s got even more money. I know he’s happy. He’s having a great time. What a good kid, though. I can’t wait for the future. I’m excited for what’s next.
NJ: Rumor has it he’s gonna buy himself a Ferrari.
MJ: A red one. Because he left the other one in Japan.
NJ: He gave it to his father because he is a good human being. That’s who we want. We want those types in The Elite.
Matthew reiterated that what they did to Page and Omega was difficult, but they had to do what was best for business. He stated that they could not leave money on the table. Nicholas noted that they were trying to make the locker room the safest one in the business. Matthew again said that he was excited about the future.
MJ: What I had to do today was really difficult, it really hurt my feelings and my self-esteem. I hate doing that to friends. Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, you guys are businessmen. I know that you understand what happened out there because you’re businessmen. You can’t leave money on the table. Kenny, I don’t know where the hell you are. But Hangman, you can’t put your hands on the referees. Come on.
NJ: As bosses, as executives, we have to be fair around.
MJ: We can’t be biased. There’s no favoritism in this locker room. We have to look out for the young guys.
NJ: You know what? We’re still trying to make this place, this locker room the safest in the business. I guess [we’re] getting closer and closer.
MJ: How do you change the world? You sign The Rainmaker. This is what we do. I’m excited for the future.
NJ: I’m super excited.
