On the September 11th episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW International Champion Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher won the Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match to earn a shot at AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). Additionally, Konosuke Takeshita got into a confrontation with AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada.
Tony Khan announced that The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada will face Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher on the September 18th episode of AEW Dynamite.
