Xyon Quinn Comments On WWE Release: The Comeback Is Always Greater Than The Setback

Xyon Quinn reacts to his WWE release.

Xyon Quinn was one of five names released by WWE on April 19, 2024. With the standard 90-day non-compete clause in place, Quinn, whose real name is Daniel Vidot, took to Instagram to explain why he is called the Samoan Ghost while also sharing a booking email address and stating that “the comeback is always greater than the setback.”

In the vignette, he is called Xyon. WWE owns the name Xyon Quinn.

“I remember my first fight. The way it felt. The way I hurt his heart beat faster and faster, his eyes so wide. I never felt so powerful. So alive. When he begged me to stop, I remember that… I just snapped. That happened sometimes. I try to control it, but I guess I’m a little unpredictable, unhinged, you might say, I’m a ghost. Boo.”

When was signed in May 2018. He spent the majority of time on NXT but was drafted as a free agent in 2023, meaning he could appear on any brand of his choice.

He only wrestled on one episode of WWE Raw and one episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown between the draft and his release.

His last match was on the March 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, losing to Bron Breakker after one move.
