Xavier Woods Is Forever Grateful To DaParty And Weekly Uno Games
It’s Wednesday. Some people call it hump day. Those in the UpUpDownDown universe call it DaParty Day.
For just over a year, Xavier Woods, Adam Cole, Cesaro, and Tyler Breeze have delivered hours of entertainment every Wednesday with competitive games of Uno. The series has become arguably the most popular series on the UpUpDownDown channel and Woods couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve been able to accomplish.
“We started playing Uno because we needed a new show to fill some time while I tried to fix Battle of the Brands. I played Uno with my friends Chris Denker and John Blud from newLEGACY and it was so much fun. When we played, I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s something here. We need to do this forever.’ This is our year anniversary. It’s definitely what I’m most proud of because it’s brought me and those guys so close together. I was already close with Breeze, we’ve lived together. I was close with Cesaro because we’ve wrestled a bunch. I didn’t have a lot of experience with Cole. One of the kindest humans on the planet. Just a good guy. Having him as the fourth member of Da Party has been a blast. I cannot express how much I love those guys with all my heart and playing Uno with them has gotten me through quarantine mentally. I feel very lucky for finding that and I’ll be forever grateful to them,” Woods told Wrestle Buddies podcast.
Uno premieres on the UUDD YouTube channel every Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET.
Fightful spoke with Johnny and newLEGACY in October about Woods OWING THE BIG BOIS ROYALTIES FOR BLATANTLY STEALING UNO FROM THEM (kidding). You can find his full comments by clicking here.
