WWE Wants To Rename ‘Corbin, Kentucky’ After ‘King’ Baron Corbin

In an effort to promote a live event on January 12 in Corbin, Kentucky at the Corbin Arena, WWE is taking off a campaign to have the city officially renamed after King Corbin.

According to a report by the local CBS affiliate in Corbin, Kentucky, WWE will have Representatives as well as a camera crew standing out in front of the Colonel Sanders statue in downtown Corbin Kentucky on the afternoon before the event collecting signatures for a petition in an effort to get the city renamed to King Corbin Kentucky.

The event will also honor tickets from the May and October 2019 events that were purchased in addition to the crew standing out in front of the statue giving out free tickets for Sunday’s show at the Corbin arena.

Currently, King Corbin is wrapped up in a feud with Roman Reigns on the SmackDown brand. Corbin recently defeated Roman at the WWE TLC pay-per-view in December.

The live event on January 12th will feature superstars from Raw and SmackDown including The Miz, Bray Wyatt, Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton, and more.
