WWE Trademarks Variant Of Monday Night Raw Star’s Ring Name

WWE has filed for a new trademark.

On November 1, 2021, WWE submitted an application with the USPTO to trademark ‘Veer Mahaan’ for the purposes of “entertainment services.”

Mark For: VEER MAHAAN trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

Veer, formerly known as Rinku Singh, was that one time the henchmen for Jinder Mahal, however, Mahal and Shanky moved over to Friday Night SmackDown in the draft, and Veer was left by himself on Monday Night Raw. 

Originally, the first solo vignette for the character featured only his first name but the most recent one that aired on November 1 featured the name that was trademarked on the same day.
