WWE Teaming With MGM For ‘American Gladiators’ Reboot

American Gladiators is set to return.

Deadline reports WWE and MGM are teaming up to bring back American Gladiators. WWE superstars will be featured on the show according to the report.

MGM and WWE will serve as executive producers on the project

The reboot is currently without a home as Mark Burnett and his team are currently pitching the rebooted series to broadcasters and platforms.

American Gladiators initially ran from 1989 to 1996 in syndication and was rebooted on NBC in 2008 with Hulk Hogan and Muhammad Ali’s daughter Laila Ali hosting.

Johnny Ferraro, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg got together in 2018 to try and bring back the series, but it ultimately did not land.

Fightful will continue to update fans on the status of the new American Gladiators as more is known.

In other WWE and entertainment news, the company is set to premiere “Escape The Undertaker,” an interactive film featuring The Undertaker and New Day on Netflix on October 5. You can find more details by clicking here.
