Here’s your Fight Size wrestling Update for WWE Super Show-Down.
– Michael Cole announced that 70,309 people were in attendance for WWE Super Show-Down.
– The New Day were able to roll on and continue reigning as SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
– Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s SmackDown Live Women’s Championship mach went to a disqualification because Becky hit Charlotte with the belt. They will have a rematch this upcoming Tuesday on SmackDown Live.
– John Cena made his return to WWE programming at Super Show-Down and picked up the victory using his “sixth move of doom”. Post-match Cena gave a speech about not knowing what’s next for him in his WWE career.
– The IIconics came out in front of their home-country crowd and picked up the victory against Naomi and Asuka.
– Samoa Joe and AJ Styles went to war and there was a spot in the match where Joe injured his thigh and that played into the finish of the match where Joe tapped out to the “Calf-Crusher”.
– The Bella Twins and the RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey defeated The Riott Squad and prior to the match and during it as well, Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey had a few minor disagreements. It was announced that Ronda Rousey will be defending the RAW Women’s Title at ‘Evolution’ against an unnamed opponent.
– Buddy Murphy defeated Cedric Alexander to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion in his hometown and country of Melbourne, Australia.
– Daniel Bryan beat The Miz in a quick two minute match and is now the new #1 contender for the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan will face AJ Styles for the WWE Title at ‘Crown Jewel’ on November 2nd.
– Triple H emerged victorious in the “last time ever” match with The Undertaker. Post-match Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kane and The Undertaker stood together in the ring raising one another’s hands but The Brothers Of Destruction soon laid waste to DX once again.
