WWE Smackdown Viewership Increases For 12/19/17, But Youtube Numbers Underwhelm
The last episode of WWE Smackdown before Christmas saw a healthy increase in viewership.
Tuesday's show, which featured fallout from Sunday's WWE Clash Of Champions pay-per-view, drew an estimated 2.578 million viewers, a nearly 100k jump from last week's 2.481 million, per Showbuzz Daily.
The program trailed Oak Island, Rachel Maddow, Hannity and Tucker Carlson on cable, landing at #5. Among non-political shows, WWE hit number two, which is where they also ended up in the 18-49 demographic. Smackdown's numbers are still roughly 200,000 viewers off of Raw, which is in line from last week as well.
On the Youtube side of things, no segments performed exceptionally well. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon's public disagreement came in at 793,430 views, while the main event six man tag hit 781,405 as of the time of publication.
