WWE SmackDown Viewership Drops Below 2 Million Following Post-WrestleMania Episode
WWE SmackDown’s overnight viewership dropped below 2 million for the SmackDown after WrestleMania.
According to overnight numbers released by Showbuzz Daily, the April 16 episode of SmackDown averaged 1.997 million viewers, down from the 2.080 million viewers the April 9 episode averaged.
In the 18-49 demographic, the show averaged a 0.5 rating. WWE SmackDown was topped only by Blue Bloods and Shark Tank. The show also drew a 0.6 rating in the 25-54 demographic, trailing Blue Bloods, MacGyver, Shark Tank, 20/20 and Magnum P.I.
Hourly Breakdown:
Hour 1: 2.001 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic
Hour 2: 1.992 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic
