– SmackDown Women’s Championship #1 Contender 5-Way Match: Ronda Rousey vs. Xia Li vs. Lacey Evans vs. Sonya Deville vs. Natalya.

– Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) & Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante “Thee” Adonis) (w/ B-Fab) vs. MA.ÇÉ, MÅN.SÔÖR & Los Lotharios (Angel & Humberto).

Live Coverage.

– The broadcast began with a recap of the final moments o the match between Drew McIntyre & Roman Reigns at Clash At The Castle, with the match ending with Solo Sikoa giving WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns the assist to retain the championship.

– After the opening vignette, Michael Cole & Corey Graves welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning to the opening match.

The Brawling Brutes (Butch, Ridge Holland & Sheamus) vs. IMPERIUM (Gunther, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser).

Vinci and Holland began the match locking up, with Vinci hitting a forearm strike on Holland’s back. Vinci hit a springboard cross body on Holland before Kaiser hit a snap-mare double stomp and a running kick for a near fall. Vinci hit an uppercut on Holland, but Holland hit a hip toss & a shoulder tackle on Vinci. Butch & Ridge hit a double under-hook suplex/ dropkick on Vinci before Butch snapped Vinci’s hands and stomped his left hand. Gunther tagged and broke off Butch’s finger snap with a vicious chop. Sheamus tagged in and the crowd exploded before the commercial break. Back from the break, Kaiser had Ridge in a headlock before hitting an open palm strike, but Holland responded with a headbutt. Vinci & Kaiser hit Ridge with a double dropkick on Ridge in the corner. Vinci hit a snap suplex on Ridge for a near fall. Gunther tagged in and went for a suplex, but then transitioned into a wrist-lock chop on Ridge. Gunther attacked Sheamus and Butch before tagging in Kaiser. Kaiser slapped Holland in the face, but Ridge responded with a spinebuster before tagging in Butch. Butch hit a running enziguri on Kaiser, a rope-assisted enziguri on Vinci, a double knee-drop on Vinci’s left arm, a German Suplex on Vinci, and a kick on Vinci’s head for a near fall before locking in an arm bar on Vinci. Butch got Kaiser on an arm bar, but Gunther got him from behind and hit a chop from behind. Sheamus and Gunther brawled out of the ring before Butch hit a running knee off the apron on Sheamus. Butch went for a boot on Vinci, but Vinci hit a vicious lariat on Butch before the commercial break. Back from the break, Gunther got Butch in a Boston Crab before transitioning to a crossface on Butch, but Butch got Gunther’s fingers to break the hold. Gunther hit a body slam on Butch before staring daggers at Sheamus. Gunther hit a second body slam on Butch before hitting a chop on Ridge. Gunther went for a German Suplex, but Butch landed on his feet and evaded Gunther’s offense. Vinci got Butch from the wrist, but Butch hit a step up Enziguri on Vinci before tagging in Sheamus. Sheamus hit two lariats on Kaiser, a back-breaker on Vinci, and the 10 Beats of the Bell on Kaiser’s chest. Sheamus hit a rolling senton on Vinci before hitting White Noise on Kaiser on top of Vinci. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick on Vinci, which Kaiser took advantage of by hitting a roll-up on Sheamus for a near fall. Sheamus hit a one-arm bodyslam on Kaiser before Ridge hit a back-lariat on Kaiser for a near fall, thanks to Gunther chopping Ridge’s head off. The six men brawled in the ring, with Sheamus hitting a brogue knee on Gunther. Ridge hit a pounce on Kaiser, but Vinci hit a deadlift brainbuster on Butch. Vinci and Kaiser hit the IMPERIUM Bomb (powerbomb/ uppercut combo) on Ridge for the pinfall win.

Winners: IMPERIUM (Gunther, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser).

– Michael Cole & Corey Graves extended their condolences on behalf of WWE to the Royal Family for the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on Thursday 9/8/2022.

– Sami Zayn & WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) made their way to the ring to welcome Solo Sikoa into the Bloodline. Zayn animated the crowd, with Jey being unamused by Zayn’s antics. Jey reminded the crowd that he retained the WWE Undisputed title, with Zayn saying the bloodline runs deep af. Jimmy asked the crowd to lift their fingers to the sky before welcoming Solo Sikoa. Sikoa shook The Usos’ hands and completely ignored Zayn while he was serenaded with boos from the crowd. Sikoa said that if come for his family, he will come for you. Sikoa said that he was here to stay. Drew McIntyre interrupted the proceedings with a steel chair in hand. The Usos and Zayn rolled out of the ring, but Sikoa stayed in the ring and asked for McIntyre. McIntyre hit a chair shot on Zayn’s back after he pushed Sikoa out of the ring. McIntyre shouted that he wanted Sikoa tonight, and Sikoa accepted his challenge by shouting at him too. 

Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah vs. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne).

Jayne and Raquel began the match, with Jayne kicking Raquel and locking on a headlock. Jayne hit a chop on Raquel’s chest. Rauqle hit an Irish Whip/ lariat on Jayne. Raquel hit a gorilla press toss on Aliyah on Jayne before Aliyah hit a Thesz Press on Jayne. Dolin stomped down Aliyah before Dolin hit a Bronco Buster on Aliyah, followed by Jayne hitting a cannonball senton on Aliyah in the corner. Dolin got Aliyah in a cravat before hitting a snap-mare kick on Aliyah. Dolin hit a snap-mare head kick on Aliyah before Jayne hit a running senton on Aliyah for a near fall. Jayne got ALiyah in a back stretch, but Aliyah hit a forearm strike on Jayne. Aliyah hit a back elbow on Dolin and rolled under her before tagging in Raquel. Raquel hit a lariat and a fall-away slam on Dolin before hitting a side slam and a corkscrew senton on Dolin for a near fall. Dolin and Jayne hit a body-pump kick on Raquel, but Aliyah hit Dolin with a spear. Raquel hit a facebuster on Jayne before connecting the Tejano Bomb for the pinfall win for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Winners: Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah.

SmackDown Women’s Championship #1 Contender 5-Way Match.

Ronda Rousey vs. Xia Li vs. Lacey Evans vs. Sonya Deville vs. Natalya. 

SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan watched the match from the crowd. Deville got Rousey in a submission before Li & Natalya tossed Rousey out of the ring. Natalya and Li exchanged pins before Evasn hti a Woman’s Right on Natalya, which Deville followed by hitting a running knee on Evans. Rousey tossed Deville onto the apron before eliminating Natalya out of the match with an arm bar. Rousey locked in an arm bar on Evans, but Li caught her with a running knee and a leg drop for a near fall. Evans rolled up Rousey for a near fall. Deville got Li in a rear-naked choke while Rousey got Evans in an arm bar for the double submission elimination. Deville and Rousey turned the match into an MMA fight, exchanging takedowns and hold attempts before Rousey attempted to hit the Piper’s Pit, but Deville reversed it into a rear naked choke. Rousey had no choice but to roll out of the ring and slam Deville’s back into the barricade. Rousey hit the Piper’s Pit on Deville before locking in the Ankle Lock on Deville for the submission win, with Rousey becoming the #1 Contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan. 

Winner: Ronda Rousey.

– The Usos talked up Solo Sikoa backstage before Sami Zayn confronted them. Sikoa said that Reigns was right about him, telling him that he appreciated the help. Jey and Zyan argued backstage but Jimmy stopped the argument. Zayn told Sikoa that The Bloodline was looking out for him, but Sikoa said that he needed to do it on his own. Jey then said that screw all that and will join Sikoa during his match against McIntyre later in the night. 

– Shayna Baszler congratulated Ronda Rousey on her win before telling her that, even though she does not need it, she wished her good luck in her match against Liv Morgan on Extreme Rules. Rousey then told her that, whenever she is ready, to let her know when she was ready to break bones and shake up the division. 

Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) & Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante “Thee” Adonis) (w/ B-Fab) vs. MA.ÇÉ, MÅN.SÔÖR & Los Lotharios (Angel & Humberto) (w/ Maxxine Dupri & Max Dupri).

MÅN.SÔÖR and Adonis began the match with Adonis flipping MÅN.SÔÖR on his abdomen. Dawkings hti a twisting splash on MÅN.SÔÖR before Top Dolla hit another running splash on MÅN.SÔÖR. Ford then hit a lariat on MÅN.SÔÖR. Street Profits & Hit Row ran into Maximum Male Models & Los Lotharios’ corner before the commercial break. Back from the break, MÅN.SÔÖR got Adonis in a headlock before slamming into the mat. MA.ÇÉ & MÅN.SÔÖR hit a double elbow strike on Adonis before MA.ÇÉ hit an elbow strike on Adonis. Angel hit a superkick on Adonis before he & Humberto attacked Top Dolla. Humberto tossed Adonis out of the ring before accidentally hitting a tope suicida on Angel. Dawkins hit a pounce on Humberto, a spinning elbow strike, a running splash, a leaping enziguri on MÅN.SÔÖR before hitting. twisting neck breaker on Mace for a near fall. Dawkins tossed Angel out of the ring. Adonis hit a tope con giro on Angel off the apron before Humberto went for a Tope Suicida, but he landed right on the mat. Ford hit a Tope Con Giro on Angel & Humberto. Max Dupri & Maxxine Dupri tried to get involved, but Top Dolla punted Max Dupri’s head off the apron. MA.ÇÉ got a roll-up on Top Dolla for a near fall. Top Dolla caught MÅN.SÔÖR from the top rope cross-body before he and Adonis hit a dropkick/ back suplex combo for the pinfall win. 

Winners: Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) & Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante “Thee” Adonis) (w/ B-Fab).

– For some reason, Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) came to the ring, with Gable pointing out that SmackDown was were Alpha Academy was born. Gable told the crowd “Ah THANK YEEEEEOU” for the warm reception, but then told the crowd to shoosh. Gable then said that he and Otis were on SmackDown because they were here to give Braun Strowman a receipt for costing them the match for the #1 Contendership for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships. Gable reminded the crowd that Seattle could not hold on to their own Basketball team, to which the crowd reacted by booing the hell out of Gable & Otis. Strowman came to the ring and made his return to SmackDown and confronted Otis & Gable. Strowman hit a punch on Otis before Gable tried the sneak attack on Strowman from behind. Strowman hit a big boot on Gable. Otis hit a series of body shots and a corner splash on Strowman. Strowman hit a shoulder tackle on Otis, A lariat on Gable, and a powerbomb ON Gable. Strowman then stared daggers at Otis before hitting a powerbomb on all of Otis’ 350 pounds. The crowd roared to Strowman’s antics.

– Drew McIntyre was interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton, with McIntyre saying he should be standing as WWE Undisputed Champion but he wasn’t because of Solo Sikoa. McIntyre then warned Sikoa that actions have consequences and that he would not like the consequences of his actions. 

Drew McIntyre vs. Solo Sikoa (w/ Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso & Samu Zayn).

The two began the match exchanging strikes before Sikoa slapped McIntyre in the mouth and laid in the body shots on McIntyre. McIntyre hit a chop on Sikoa before Sikoa hit a kick on McIntyre’s chest.McIntyre hit a Future Shock DDT on Sikoa from out of nowhere and went for the Claymore, but The Usos pulled Sikoa out of the ring before the commercial break. Back from the break, Sikoa locked in the nerve hold on McIntyre. McIntyre broke the hold, but Sikoa hit a Samoan Drop on McIntyre for a near fall. Sikoa laid in the strikes on Drew before laying his neck in the ropes. Jey hit a slap on McIntyre while the referee was distracted. McIntyre hit two chops on Sikoa, but Sikoa responded with a Belly-To-Belly slam on McIntyre for a near fall. Sikoa hit a vicious hip attack on McIntyre, with Drew’s neck hanging in the bottom turnbuckle. Drew hit two lariats, a back elbow, an overhead suplex, and a neck breaker on Sikoa before doing a kip-up. Jimmy & Jey distracted McIntyre before Sikoa got a roll-up on Drew for a near fall. Zayn distracted McIntyre, but Drew tossed Sami in the ring. Drew went for a claymore on Zayn, but SIkoa caught him with a vicious superkick for a near fall. The two exchanged strikes and headbutts in the ring. The Usos lowered the rope on McIntyre before the Usos attacked McIntyre. Street Profits came to the ring and made the save for Drew, with Montez Ford hitting a cross body on the multitude. McIntyre hit a claymore on Sikoa to send him out of the ring, but Karrion Kross got McIntyre in a Kross Jacket choke to end the match in a disqualification. 

Winner: Drew McIntyre (via Disqualification).

– Kross maintained the hold as Scarlett was rejoicing by his actions. The screen went to black and white as the screen faded to black before the end of the broadcast.
