WWE SmackDown Records Decrease In Average Viewership, Key Demo Rating On 8/11/23

Check out the ratings for the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown. 

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported on Monday, August 14 that the August 11 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.097 million viewers in final viewership. This is down from the August 4 show, which drew 2.248 million viewers.

Furthermore, Friday’s show drew a 0.55 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, which is also down from the August 4 show’s 0.62 rating.

Programming Insider reported back on Saturday, August 12, that Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.650 million viewers in the preliminary viewership. Hour one drew 2.585 million viewers. Hour two drew 2.715 million viewers. This number is up from the 2.151 million viewers the show drew on August 4 in preliminary viewership

The show drew a 0.6 rating in the key P18-59 demo ratings, up from August 4’s 0.57 preliminary rating, which rose to 0.62 when the final numbers were tallied.

It was noted that this week’s preliminary numbers are inflated as multiple markets aired local NFL preseason games.
