Final WWE SmackDown Viewership Numbers On 10/7 Show Increase In Viewership, Demo Remains Steady

The final numbers are in for the October 7 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Brandon Thurston is reporting that October 7’s WWE SmackDown averaged 2.243 million viewers, which is up from last week’s final total of 2.207 million. Meanwhile, SmackDown’s key demo rating on 10/7 stayed the same as last week, as the show recorded a 0.54. Per usual, both of these numbers are up from the preliminary viewership that was reported on Saturday.

On October 8, Spoiler TV reported that WWE SmackDown on October 7 averaged 2.133 million viewers in the preliminary numbers. The first hour drew 2.117 million viewers while the second hour drew 2.149 million viewers. This number is up from the preliminary numbers for the September 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, which came in at 2.076 million viewers.

The show scored a preliminary 0.50 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is in line with last Friday’s prelim rating. The final rating for September 30 was a 0.54 in the demo.

SmackDown came in second place for the night on broadcast television according to the final numbers.

Friday’s SmackDown was billed as the season premiere of the show and was the final episode before WWE Extreme Rules.
