WWE Smackdown! Live Results for 4/2/19 The Last Stop on the Road to Wrestlemania this Sunday Night
It’s the go home edition of Smackdown! Live and the last show before Wrestlemania this Sunday night!

–Kevin Owens comes out for the KO Show and introduces his guests Randy Orton and AJ Styles before he asks Randy about his interfering in Kurt Angel’s final match on Smackdown! Live before they exchange barbs and start brawling and Randy counters a Phenomenal Forearm into an RKO.
Eight Man Tag Team Match
Ricochet and Cesaro start the match off with Ricochet using his superior athleticism, getting a quick two count off of a sunset flip before Cesaro rocks him with an uppercut. Sheamus comes in and Black gets the tag before hitting an Asai moonsault and several kicks for a two count. The Usos double team Sheamus in their corner until Sheamus drives Jey into his corner and drops him with a clothesline before tagging Shinsuke in. Shinsuke knees Jey in the midsection before he sends him out of the ring with Rusev’s help, Rusev sending him into the steps and the barricade before rolling him back in for a two count. Shinsuke comes back before he sends Jey back out of the ring and Cesaro drops him from ringside as we go to commercial.
We return to Shinsuke in control of Jey until he fights out of a front choke and hits a Samoan drop before tagging Jimmy in. Jimmy then clears the apron and superkicks Rusev when he gets the tag for a near fall that Shinsuke breaks up before everyone hits a move and send each other out of the ring until Jey gets the blind tag and The Usos hit Rusev with a double superkick for the pin and the win.
Winner:The Usos, Ricochet & Aleister Black defeat Shinsuke Day & The Bar when Jey pins Rusev with a double superkick.
-After the match Alexa Bliss comes out and announces that The Usos will be defending their belts in a Fatal Four Way at Wrestlemania.
-The Iconics come out and mock their opponents, the WWE Women’s champions, Sasha Banks and Bayley ahead of their match this Sunday.
The Miz vs SAnitY
Shane McMahon comes out onto the stage before the match starts, then EY and Miz get started before Miz clears the apron and Eric hits Miz with a neckbreaker as we go to commercial.
We return to Miz in control before he’s distracted by Shane who now makes the match falls count anywhere before he shows Miz’s dad on the screen. SAnitY gang up on Miz and send him into the barricade before Miz sends Dain into the barricade and Eric and Alex into the WWE Universe. Miz sends Alex through a table for a near fall that Eric breaks up before they make their way backstage and Miz gets another near fall that Dain breaks up. Miz then sends a piece of equipment into Eric for the pin and the win outside the arena.
Winner: The Miz defeats SAnitY via pinfall when he pins Eric.
-We get a video package for the Winner Take All Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match in the main event of Wrestlemania this Sunday before Becky Lynch comes out to the ring. Becky gets on the announce table and talks about her journey to main eventing Wrestlemania.
Eighteen Person Mixed Tag Team Match
Zelina and Nikki start the match before they’re interrupted by Lacey Evans and Zelina sends Nikki into the middle turnbuckle before Nikki hits a back suplex for a quick two count. EC3 and Jeff Hardy come in next and The Hardyz double trek EC3 until Matt hits a Side Effect and Heavy Machinery double up on EC3. Otis then does the worm and an elbow drop as we go to commercial.
R-Truth and Andrade are in the ring as we return to the action before Carmella gets in and they have a dance break before chaos ensues and the referee throws the match out.
Winner: No Contest.
-We get a video package for Universal champion Brock Lesnar.
Samoa Joe vs Ali
Joe kicks Ali and tosses him in the corner before beating him down with right hands and headbutts before chopping him, Ali coming back with a dropkick and a suicide dive. Joe rolls Ali back into the ring and Ali hits a tornado DDT for a two count before hitting an enzuigiri into a rolling sit-out facebuster. Ali then misses a 450 before Joe chokes him out for the referee stoppage and the win.
Winner: Samoa Joe defeats Ali via submission with the Coquina Clutch.
-The WWE champion Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out to the ring as we go to commercial before we come back from commercial to Daniel, Rowan in the ring before New Day come out to the ring for Kofi’s title match against Daniel this Sunday. Daniel screams life lessons to the WWE Universe about complacency and about not being a bystander in your life before Kofi says that everything has lead to their match before he signs the contract as we go off the air.
