WWE Smackdown on FOX Results for 11/13/20 Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio

The road to Survivor Series continues tonight at 8pm EST on FOX!

Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight’s edition of WWE Smackdown on FOX!

– We open tonight’s show in the arena with the Universal champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Roman gets on the mic and talks about how he’s made his cousin Jey relevant and his beating Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens in back to back weeks. Roman says that he intends to cement his dominance when he defeats the WWE champion Randy Orton at Survivor Series. Roman is interrupted by the former WWE champion Drew McIntyre. Drew comes out to the ring and tells Roman that he’s going to beat Randy Monday and it’ll be the two of them at Survivor Series.

Jey Uso then comes out to the ring and issues a challenge to Drew for a match later tonight.

– We get a graphic for Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins in a No Holds Barred match as well as Sami Zayn defending his Intercontinental championship against Apollo Crews up next as we go to commercial.

– We come back from the break to Jey backstage with an irate Roman who tells him that he calls the shots and makes the matches before Jey says that he’ll take care of it.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

Sami Zayn (c) vs Apollo Crews

Apollo drops Sami repeatedly before dropping him face first across the top turnbuckle. Apollo counters a suplex attempt into one of his own before hitting a standing moonsault for two. Sami rips the tarp off of the apron and sends Apollo into the exposed metal before tying his foot up in the bottom of the ring. Sami then rolls back into the ring before Apollo is counted out for the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn retains his Intercontinental championship by defeating Apollo Crews via count out.

– Backstage Drew meets with Adam Pearce who formally makes a non-sanctioned match between him and Jey for later tonight.

– Rey Mysterio and his family are interviewed backstage ahead of his grudge match against Seth Rollins later tonight as we go to commercial.

– We come back from the break to Smackdown Women’s champion Sasha Banks in the ring before she gets on the mic and talks about the attack by Carmella last week. Sasha says that she’s putting the women’s locker room on notice before she’s interrupted by Bayley. Carmella then attacks Sasha from behind before laying her out with a sit-out face buster before leaving up the ramp with Bayley nowhere to be found.

– Backstage Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode make fun of Otis eating dinner before Otis flips the table and they flee as we go to commercial.

Dolph Ziggler w/Robert Roode vs Otis

Otis throws Dolph across the ring and beats him down in the corner before hitting a running splash in the corner. Otis calls for the Caterpillar before Robert distracts him and Otis knocks him off of the apron before Dolph hits the Zig-Zag for a near fall. Otis counters a superkick into the Caterpillar before Roode distracts Otis again and Otis stops Roode in his tracks with a death glare. Otis then pins Dolph with a splash for the win.

Winner: Otis defeats Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.

– Otis is interviewed backstage before Chad Gable walks up and offers to train him which he agrees to.

No Holds Barred Match

Seth Rollins w/Murphy vs Rey Mysterio w/ The Mysterio Family

Rey goes right after Seth and beats him down before Seth scoots out onto the apron and snaps the neck of Rey across the top rope. Seth grabs a chair before Rey dropkicks his knee and Seth rolls out of the ring to avoid an early 619. Rey hits a tornado DDT onto the apron before sending Seth into the barricade and the apron. Seth sends Rey into the post and the edge of the steps before Rey hits a sunset flip into the barricade. Seth counters a sliding dive and suplexes Rey onto the announce table before smashing his face into the table.

Seth sends Rey into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring for two before hitting an elbow drop to the small of the back. Seth hits a backbreaker and stands on the face of Rey before whipping him sternum first into the corner for two. Seth sets a chair up in the corner before missing a running splash in the corner and Rey hits a springboard seated senton into a head scissors. Rey hits a bulldog for two before Seth throws him across the ring and under the bottom rope and bouncing onto the floor. Seth grabs the steps and hits Rey before Rey counters a stomp onto the steps and sends Seth face first into the steps.

Rey then hits a sliding splash out of the ring and onto Seth as we go to commercial.

We come back to a table in the ring with Rey and Seth before Seth sends the table into the face of Rey. Rey goes for a frankensteiner that Seth counters into a second rope powerbomb through the table for a near fall. Seth tries to drive a chair leg into the eye of Rey before Dom pulls him out of the ring and gets superkicked for his troubles. Back in the ring Rey drops Seth before Murphy helps Seth up and hands him the chair before helping Rey up and attacking Seth. Seth then counters the 619 before Rey hits it the second time and finishes with a frog splash for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rey Mysterio defeats Seth Rollins via pinfall.

– After the match Murphy shakes hands with Rey and gains his long sought after approval before the family celebrate with Murphy.

– Backstage Seth demands a match against Murphy before we cut back to the ring before we get an answer from Pearce.

Women’s Survivor Series Qualifier Fatal Four Way Match

Natalya vs Tamina vs Liv Morgan vs Chelsea Green

Natalya and Chelsea take out Tamina before Liv attacks Natalya and they get back into the ring where Liv counters a clothesline into a DDT for two. Liv gets two before countering a sharpshooter and hitting a Code Breaker for a near fall. Liv then hits Tamina with a Code Breaker for the pin and the win.

Winner: Liv Morgan defeats Tamina, Natalya and Chelsea Green via pinfall to gain entry into the Smackdown Women’s Survivor Series match.

– Drew McIntyre is interviewed backstage ahead of his match against Jey in tonight’s main event as we go to commercial.

– We come back to Big-E with The Street Profits where SP mock New Day and E tells them that they will only ever be knockoffs of New Day.

– We get a graphic for Seth Rollins versus Murphy next week before we go back to the ring for our main event.

Unsanctioned Match

Drew McIntyre vs Jey Uso

They lock up before Jey locks in a standing side headlock and Drew drops him with a shoulder block. Drew tosses Jey into the corner and punches and chops him before suplexing him for two. Drew then kicks Jey in the ribs before Jey crotches him in the middle rope and superkicks him out of the ring as we go to commercial.

We come back to Jey still in control, hitting a Samoan drop before stomping Drew in the corner and Drew comes back with clotheslines. Drew hits an overhead belly to belly suplex before tossing Jey across the ring and following up with a neckbreaker. Jey counters the Future Shock DDT before they exchange strikes and Drew hits a pop up sit-out powerbomb for two. Jey superkicks Drew and goes up top before Drew meets him and Jey crotches him on the top rope. Jey knocks Drew down into the tree of woe before Drew sends Jey off of the top and Jey escapes out of the ring to avoid the Claymore Kick.

Drew sends Jey into the barricade and the apron before Roman and Paul come out and Jey sends Drew into the post and steps. Jey tosses Drew back into the ring and Roman tells him to make Drew understand who’s in charge. Jey then beats on Drew in mount before Drew hits the Claymore Kick for the pin and the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre defeats Jey Uso via pinfall.

– Roman and Drew then face off after having an exchange of words and Roman leaves up the ramp as we go off the air.
