WWE Smackdown on FOX Results for 11/1/19 Smackdown Women’s Championship, NXT Championship Match

The WWE Women’s Championship is on the line and The Beast is at Smackdown to celebrate his victory over Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel!

-The WWE champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman come out to the ring and Paul says that Brock is really pissed off tonight because of what Rey Mysterio did to him at Crown Jewel after he defeated Cain Velasquez which we see on the big screen with the entire match playing to the conclusion and the aftermath. Paul talks about how Brock won’t be able to get a hold of Rey because Rey and Brock are on separate brands and the wild card rule is no longer a thing and that Brock is coming to RAW Monday to find Rey. Paul then says that Brock hereby quits Smackdown on FOX and that he’s going to RAW Monday to hunt down Rey before talking in Spanish. We then see Triple H and Shawn Michaels entering the arena as Brock and Paul leave as we go to commercial.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship Match

Bayley (c) w/Sasha Banks vs Nikki Cross

They lock up for a clean break before shoving each other and Nikki rolls Bayley up for a quick two count before Nikki hits a huricanrrana that sends Bayley out of the ring. Nikki hits a wrecking ball dropkick and a DDT onto the floor before tossing Bayley back into the ring for a quick two count as we go to commercial.

We return to Bayley sending Nikki into the ring steps and rolls her back into the ring for a quick two count before she accidentally runs face first into the turnbuckle and Nikki hits a jawbreaker. Nikki hits a running cross body and clotheslines Bayley before hitting a running splash into a bulldog before hitting a diving cross body for a near fall. Sasha distracts Nikki before she’s knocked off the apron and Bayley snaps her in the ropes before hitting a diving elbow drop for a near fall and sets Nikki on the top turnbuckle before slamming her down to the mat. Nikki then traps Bayley in the apron and rolls her back in the ring before Sasha shoves her off of the top and Bayley hits a reverse flat liner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bayley retains her Smackdown Women’s Championship by defeating Nikki Cross via pinfall with a reverse flat liner.

-After the match NXT Women’s champion Shayna Baszler shows up from the crowd and attacks Sasha and lays out Bayley before leaving through the crowd as we go to commercial.

-We return to a video recapping what Shayna Baszler just did to Bayley and Sasha Banks before we go backstage to Sami Zayn being interviewed about what’s happened so far tonight, Sami saying that there’s a pattern to tonight and that NXT is here, but need to watch who they mess with before Matt Riddle and Keith Lee show up. Sami says he’s a big fan of them and NXT and that he used to be called the heart and soul of NXT before leaving to go get his NXT shirt, Matt and Keith following him to his car before he runs and they chase him. Sami, Matt and Keith then run out to ringside before they get in the ring and Matt hits the Final Flash into a variation of the Styles clash and Keith hits a moonsault off of the second rope.

-We get the Progressive Match Flo featuring the match between Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel yesterday in which Tyson won via count out as we go to commercial.

-The Miz comes out to the ring for Miz TV and shows us a recap of The Fiend defeating Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match at Crown Jewel yesterday. Miz says that Bray isn’t there tonight before talking about NXT, Miz recapping what the NXT talent has done tonight since invading Smackdown before he’s interrupted by Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa says that he is the greatest sports entertainer of all time and that Miz needs a reality check and that he is everything that is wrong with RAW and Smackdown. Ciampa mocks Miz and says that Miz plays the part while he is the part, Miz bringing up how good Ciampa is, but says that NXT needs to make a statement if that’s why they’re there. Miz then makes a match between the two as we go to commercial.

Tommaso Ciampa vs The Miz

Miz puts Ciampa in a side headlock before Ciampa drops him with a shoulder block and sends him out onto the apron before Miz rolls him up for a quick two count. Miz sends Ciampa out of the ring and Ciampa counters a wrecking ball dropkick before sending Miz into the barricade and the ring steps before applying a headlock once they’re back in the ring. Miz comes back with right hands and a kitchen sink into a neckbreaker for a quick two count before kicking the former NXT champion in the corner and hitting running knees in the corner until Ciampa comes out of the corner with a discus lariat. Ciampa hits a running knee in the corner for a two count before they counter each other until Miz hits a chop block and counters a powerbomb into a DDT for a near fall before locking in the figure four. They roll over and reverse the pressure until they get to the ropes for the break before Miz gets a couple of two counts and they chop each other until Miz hits a corner clothesline.

Ciampa then catches Miz coming off of the top with a high knee and hits the Fairytale Ending for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa defeats The Miz via pinfall with the Fairytale Ending.

Daniel Bryan sees Triple H and Shawn Michaels backstage and Daniel and Triple H talk about Survivor Series before Daniel challenges Triple H to a match before Triple H says that he’s not prepared to fight before Shawn acts like he’s willing to have a match against Daniel before Triple H calls Adam Cole over and Daniel challenges Adam to a title match before all parties agree and Daniel and Adam square off as we go to commercial.

Fire & Desire vs Rhea Ripley & Tegan Nox

Before Carmella and Dana Brooke come for their match out we go backstage to her and Dana Brooke being attacked and dispatched by NXT’s Bianca Belair before she’s replaced by Rhea Ripley. Nox and Rhea attack their opponents as soon as the match starts, Rhea dropkicking Mandy in the ring as Sonya and Nox brawl at ringside and Nox sends Sonya over the announce table before Nox hits the Shiniest Wizard and Rhea locks in a variation of the Texas cloverleaf for the tap and the win.

Winner:Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox defeat Fire & Desire via submission when Rhea submits Mandy with an inverted Texas cloverleaf.

-Triple H and Shawn Michaels come out to ringside for the NXT Championship match before Stephanie McMahon comes out onto the stage and talks about the women’s evolution and revolution before we get a video package recapping the first ever women’s match in Saudi Arabia between Natalya and Lacey Evans in which Natalya won.

NXT Championship Match

Adam Cole (c) vs Daniel Bryan

Daniel takes Adam down, but he’s right back up before Adam takes Daniel down and he’s right back up, the two exchanging headlock and head scissors before Daniel backs Adam in the corner and slaps him across the face. Daniel drops Adam and kicks him in the chest before chopping him in the corner and hitting him with forearms and taking him down with a side headlock. Adam drops Daniel with a shoulder block before Daniel drops him with a kick and yells at Triple H at ringside before locking in a surfboard stretch and transitioning into a variation of a dragon sleeper. Daniel rocks Adam with an uppercut before Adam drops him with a boot for a two count as Triple H looks on at ringside, Daniel and Adam then suplexing each other over the top rope and down onto the floor as we go to commercial.

Adam hits a neckbreaker and locks in a head scissors before Daniel rolls to the ropes for the break before they exchange strikes until Daniel drops Adam with an uppercut. Daniel hits a flying clothesline and sends Adam over the top rope and out onto the floor before Daniel hits a flying knee off of the apron and rolling Adam back into the ring. Daniel hits a missile dropkick and a frankensteiner, but Adam rolls through for a near fall before dropping Daniel with a bicycle knee for another near fall before Daniel sends him out of the ring. Daniel then hits a suicide dive before Adam catches him with an enzuigiri when he goes for a second one as we go to commercial.

Adam goes for a superplex, but Daniel counters him and slips out the back before hitting a spider suplex and misses a diving headbutt before Adam hits a shoulder breaker for a near fall. Daniel counters the Last Shot into a single leg Boston crab before transitioning into a heel hook and Adam rolls to the bottom rope for the break right before tapping. Daniel kicks Adam in the legs and goes for an electric chair that Adam counters into a slam and Daniel locks in a cross face before Adam gets to the ropes when Daniel adds in joint manipulation. Daniel then hits Kawada kicks and they roll each other up for several near falls before Daniel hits a buzzsaw kick and Adam superkicks Daniel before hitting the Panama Sunrise and the Last Shot for the pin and the win.

Winner: Adam Cole retains his NXT Championship by defeating Daniel Bryan via pinfall with the Last Shot.

-After the match triple H gets in the ring and says that he’s built an army for Survivor Series and that they’ve fired the first shot and anticipate what Smackdown and RAW will bring to them as we go off the air.
